Crunchy airfried chickpeas seasoned with @daksspices salt free Taco Knight blend! These my friends are a great snack that you need to try. A 1/2 cup serving, which is plenty to fill you up, is roughly 100 calories, 7 g protein, 8 g fiber (@theguthealthmd I know your fiber sense went off) and each serving is only about ten cents to make. Plus, dried chickpeas are shelf stable pretty much forever so you can stock up and use them for lots of recipes! 🥰

Hoisin seitan and veggies on a bed of ramen noodles. What's hoisin taste like? It's like if pumpkin spice had a cool Uncle Jesse but he rode a motorcycle and smoked Lucky Strikes. That's pretty much hoisin. It's cool. 💁🏼‍♂️

Throughout human history the consumption of meat has been a classist diet. The vast majority of people can't afford to raise and slaughter an animal. It's an expensive use of resources. However, in the last few decades as factory farming has gotten subsidized and more mechanical, the price of meat has dramatically decreased from its actual cost. It is now cheaper to buy a burger than it is a single fresh apple. So the quality of animal life and the products they are turned into has decreased to make processed products that are cheap. This is why people assume veganism is too expensive. It's because it is, if you're comparing like products. But this is where our purchasing activism makes an impact. 🌱
